Sample Testing the Gravik G250 Trail: Our Pre-Launch Checklist.
We do not take a single order until our sample bikes pass twelve checks. Here is exactly what we look at and why each one matters.
Selling a motorcycle people will ride on uneven ground at speed is not the same as selling a phone case. Things break. People can get hurt. So before Gravik Moto opens a single order for the G250 Trail, every sample unit we receive goes through the same twelve-point inspection. This post is that checklist, in plain English.
The twelve checks
- Cold start. Does the bike start reliably from cold on both electric and kick start?
- Braking. Do both front and rear brakes bite progressively without grabbing?
- Suspension. Do the forks and shock compress smoothly without binding?
- Gearbox. Do all gears engage cleanly, with no false neutrals?
- Clutch. Does the clutch take up smoothly without drag?
- Frame and welds. Inspection of every weld at swingarm pivot, headstock, footpeg mounts.
- Leaks. Fuel, oil, brake fluid, fork seals — checked cold and hot.
- Wheel trueness. Spoke tension and rim runout measured.
- Electrics. Lights, horn, kill switch, ignition all under load.
- Wear-item fit. Standard chain, sprockets, brake pads, levers, cables, filter — all confirmed available.
- Packaging. The crate must protect the bike in UK courier handling.
- Documentation. Manual, parts diagram, VIN, declaration of conformity where required.
What we do if a check fails
A failed check is not a customer problem. It is a launch blocker. We do not push a bike to market that has not passed every one of the twelve checks. If a sample fails, we send it back, document the issue, and request a corrected unit.
