Sample Testing.
Every Gravik G250 Trail sample unit goes through a twelve-point inspection before customer orders open. No bike ships until it passes.
Selling a motorcycle people will ride on uneven ground at speed is not the same as selling a phone case. Things break. People can get hurt. That is why every sample unit Gravik Moto receives goes through the same inspection, and why we will not open the first batch until that inspection passes.
The twelve checks
- Cold start. Reliable start from cold on both electric and kick start.
- Braking. Both front and rear brakes bite progressively without grabbing.
- Suspension. Forks and shock compress smoothly without binding, rebound without clunks.
- Gearbox. All gears engage cleanly with no false neutrals under load.
- Clutch. Smooth take-up without drag.
- Frame and welds. Inspection of every weld at swingarm pivot, headstock, and footpeg mounts.
- Leaks. Fuel, oil, brake fluid, and fork seals checked cold and hot.
- Wheel trueness. Spoke tension and rim runout measured.
- Electrics. Lights, horn, kill switch, and ignition tested under load.
- Wear-item fit. Standard chain, sprockets, brake pads, levers, cables, and filter confirmed available in the UK.
- Packaging. The crate must protect the bike in UK courier handling.
- Documentation. Manual, parts diagram, VIN, and declaration of conformity where required.
What we do if a check fails
A failed check is not a customer problem. It is a launch blocker. We do not push a bike to market that has not passed every check. If a sample fails, we send it back, document the issue, and request a corrected unit.
